I decided to try something different so I tuned to drop D. (I'm usually in B) I also decided to keep the synth because it can hit higher notes than the flute can without cracking or distorting.
As always, if you have any input on my music or have advice on how I can improve I'd be happy to hear it.

I like the contrast of the heavy bass and high synth. The bass instruments sometimes get a little bit muddy and it sounds like there might be some clipping during the bass hits, but I'm not entirely sure if it's actually clipping or just he grungy-ness of the bass guitar? Also, the end is a bit abrupt, is there going to be more? :)

I broke my headphones a little after I recorded everything, so mixing this was a little bit harder. I thought I had the track fade out at the end, but I guess I missed that. Sadly I won't be recording anything new until my new headphones arrive. And thanks for your input, it's hard to find anyone who will critique my work.
