Colorful insides belong to this girl,
She never let her world unfurl,
After they caused her turmoil.
This beautiful, colorful girl.
She was bright on the outside,
Her darkness kept inside,
Yet it was bright like the sun
The emptiness was always on the run.
"Her beauty is colorful!" They said,
Never looking at the pain they spread,
Should have wound up dead!
But instead... Here she's wed.
They say a cut is only skin deep.
Yet at night she sits as her thoughts creep.
Worried about her daughter's weep,
As the cycle continues to keep.
She told her child to be hopeful,
and to know that she is powerful,
No matter how dark her turmoil,
She is beautiful, and colorful.
Just an idea I had. I'll probably scrap this version and make a better one in the future. ♥
