it's okay... it is what it is. mom left when i was ten years old and my dad was just like bill... hard working and a good provider, but he just wasn't emotionally supportive of me or nurturing... so needless to say, i pretty much raised and supported myself. despite the severe ptsd, depression, anxiety, attachment, and abandonment issues i suffered since mom left, it's a miracle that i turned out fairly decent.
the bible verse is true though. mom abandoned me when i was ten and she disowned me completely by 2014. i cut contact with her completely and never talked to her again. my dad is much like cot's father.... hard working, a good provider, but was never really emotionally there for me. so i'm kinda distant from him as well...
