Well, it's my own fault for starting late in the contest. I mean it's been going on for about two months as of this submission. I could be wrong.

Anyway, I had several ideas on how I wanted to approach this. My first song idea was going to be based on The Delgados' "The Light Before We Land", but I thought that would have been far too depressing. So, I came up with this song after watching the movie recently, and I thought this could work with my fursona and  mondeis's nameless female dingo (I named her Lara after the singer of this song). I really wanted to do the piece with  mondeis's fursona, but that probably would have turned off some other people due to the song. ^^; At least that's what I think.

I'm rather satisfied with the piece in general. :) I gave my tablet another try after messing around with the settings, and I like the results displayed here. I did intend for Fara to be a bit taller than my fursona because I kind of saw her as a gentle giant type with a bit of motherly passion... if that makes sense to anyone. ^^; When I saw her reference, she was, of course, naked, and I just threw on her underwear. The same thing went for my fursona on clothing as is depicted here. :P

I wanted to have them floating in space as they were kneeling. As much as I liked that idea, it would have made far more sense if they were in a grassy field. The glow is supposed to represent their spirits and souls being one. It may not be the best, but I wanted to try it out. :)

P.S. Don't worry. The name isn't official. I just gave her the name because I thought it would be nice if she had one for this piece. :)
