Those few who own Lapnins are free to make one at this time as I'm not sure if they will be fully closed or a soft open species yet.

Babbles
Those who know Everything
I actually have had the idea to formally introduce these guys for a while but have been holding back as I wanted to put the enforcers fully into cruxis lore. I decided to reverse that choice and include these guys now as the first parasites of Cruxis. They are also the best telepathic translators one can find. They are required to learn any language known and take the job pretty seriously.
Quick Facts:
- Babbels who can take book form can be reincarnated as long as their book form is undamaged. So Babbels who gain book form are often as old and powerful as fully grown Lapnin, just on the other side of the size spectrum.
- Babel Babies are extremely stupid and will line up to throw themselves off cliffs as a form of entertainment. This is fine as Babbel bodies are extremely squishy and this does not hurt them. Sometimes parents will throw them across the room to keep them quiet while they are working.
- Translator Babbles go through rigorous training to do their job. Often non-Babbel applicants fail out before the first test is over. //Sometimes though they do pass with the Babbels and begin their training to become Grand Translators serving; Space fleets, Magical Courts, international Customs and anywhere else a Language expert can be needed. Because Babbles call Lapnins home they often end up being sent to all sorts of places and often ride on the shoulders of anyone who needs their knowledge.
- A Babbel's Butterfly Form is actually considered ugly to them and is only used for combat and magic casting purposes.
-Babbels can Cross breed with other species like humans or other insectoids. These hybrids are often looked down on if they cannot find a purpose to their lives.
- Babbels who are born from predator species like spiders or Praying Mantis do not become translators and often live in their Butterfly hybrid forms as Guards and knights.

I ended up making a set of six of them while I was figuring out the full range of traits so I'm planning to post them as a half freebie Half OTA tomorrow most likely. OTL I really need to stop making designs when I got like a hundred other things I need to draw first.
I'm glad to be back, speaking of which how have you been lately?

Yes there is a rarity chart in the works for them. // pretty much fallows one basic Pattern more is better to them. So more legs or arms are rarer and desired traits. Mutations are always rare to Ultra rare as they are traits most babbles do not want so they don't end up breeding around as much. So the plainer looking non-fluffy or glowing Babbels are common everywhere. The tail ends can be almost any type or fluff so far. As for the limbs There is a limit to how many, they can have up to 20 legs and eight arms. Six arms are ultra rare as is so eight is legendary. 12 legs and over is also legendary on mini Babbels. The Babbels that are Human sized or mega which means they are much bigger then their pocket sized brethren typically start the leg list over so to them it's 12 (common) 14 Uncommon 16 Rare 18 Ultra Rare and 20 Legendary. //all babbels are born the same size with their legs predetermined, the longer Babbels just have a thing for growing bigger then they should it seems so minis of with more then 12 legs are really loved by the community.
