The High Droid Dragon has undergone many alterations since it very first creation during the Great Mechanical War, the first war that brought the Alliance into actual being. After the High Droids became apart of the Alliance, Dragons were utilized to the same extent as they were originally used, as a heavy aerial support unit. The dragon operates nowadays as still what it was intended to however unlike in the past, this version is more acceptable for space combat and fleet support. It is bigger and more heavily armed. Now I bet everyone is wondering why is it called the Dragon? The Dragon during the Mechanical war utilized a single, high density torch device or flamethrower to burn through cities and completely raise them and any resistance, the Human Resistance who later formed the Alliance named these machines Dragons in response and the name stuck obviously. The dragon retains this ability in the form of 3 extremely dense energy laser cannons on the bottom of the chassis. The Dragon is a completely autonomous unit and is capable of active adaption on the battlefield, it has no internal space for walking around. The unit can carry 250 infantry medium High Droid units on its under chassis or 500 micro high droid units or 100 Heavy High Droid Units or 20 Super heavies or 3 Ultra Heavy units. Instead of this, the Dragon can also ferry a armed transport pod under it that has the capacity for 1000 troops. The Dragon is 520 meters in length and is equipped with 4 side guns, 2 on both sides, 6 pivoting cannons on the side top chassis, 2 front facing cannons, 14 turbolasers, 15 antifighter and infantry turrets, 2 tractor beams, 16 swarm and energy missile pods, 4 torpedo pods, a warpdrive, heavy armor and a fast engine system and heavy shield. Dragons are commonly seen patrolling High Droid Territory with extreme vigilance and will openly target hostiles or noncomplacent persons who defy the Collective. The Aliance also utilize them as support ships in fleets and as outer colony patrol vessels along with military Ground support. Alliance Variants have a blue chassis with green outlines and lights with red photoreceptor eyes and High Droid Collective normals have a simple white chassis with the same eyes. In the drawing you can see the top and side view of the unit along with the cargo pod and the original, Mechanical war variant with a size comparison to show how far the tech in it has come. High Droids still utilize the Mechanical War variant, most commonly known as the origin variant, but mostly for light support and Alliance Patrols on outlying universes and worlds do the same thing. Despite its size and ability for space flight, it is not classified as a starship and is dwarfed in size compared to the High Droid Trojan Desolator Unit.
