The Zimei are a draconic species in control of 3 dozen star systems, the most expansive territory in the Galactic Union. The Zimei are a purely plutocratic society, ruled over by wealthy aristocrats, and many an expansion of Zimei territory was caused by Zimei setting out and laying claim to nearby star systems in the hopes of striking it rich by mining them for resources. Their status as one of the founders of the Galactic Union, as well as their sheer material wealth, has afforded them certain exclusive and controversial privileges, such as the continued ownership of their kobold slaves, the natives of one such Zimei-owned planet whom the conquerer took a liking to, and who now serve as sources of cheap labor or as pets and servants to the social elite.
Ilza vil Draknaram is the youngest daughter of the Draknaram family, a family not particularly high or low within the aristocracy, and like all wealthy Zimei families, seek to uplift their family’s social standing through cutthroat business dealings. Ilza, however, has more or less opted out of this tradition in favor of pursuing her own interests, and now runs a strip club/brothel in the red light district of the Phylid-6 orbital colony, frequently mingling with her customers. Though elegant and charming, she’s been known to hit the bottle more often than she should.
