Please, Whatever you do, Never Ever Ever EVER try to force yourself to be creative when you're just not feeling up to it, especially if the piece was a gift or commission. Whatever the reason, be it the blues, tiredness or exhaustion, whatever, if your muse is not interested in letting you art DO NOT TRY TO FORCE IT.

My apologies to  gatekat for ruining this piece. The worse news is I somehow forgot to scan the line art before I started painting it, so I have no real choice but to restart from scratch on this thing on my next batch of sketches. I just couldn't get into this piece after I'd inked it, and I don't know why. It could be because it wants to be done in a medium I don't have access to or because I've been exhausted lately, any number of reasons really.
