Short Northern Days
The winter days are short, with a low glowing sun barely peeking before descending into the long nights. But even such little light warms the hearts of the creatures it touches, and as spring nears, hope grows.
Just a bit of a personal piece done a while back while it was still the dead of winter in Canada. I always struggle with the short days and the cold keeping me indoors.
Done in Procreate on my iPad Pro. I love how well it imitates real media, I'll have to practice more often with it!

Unfortunately I've never tried a Cintiq, only ever had an Intuos myself. I think there are quite a few reviews on YouTube and elsewhere that could help you out :)
I do find the pressure technology feels different than Wacom, and of course the big difference for me has been having a screen to draw on and the option for portability. The other device I was looking at getting was the Wacom MobileStudio Pro as I was pretty keen on having a full computer with Wacom technology, but unfortunately the pricetag was about 3x that of the iPad and the battery life didn't seem very good.
