Haha, true. Well, there can be the human/anthro influence, so I would suggest plantigrade at least, and that allows you to go from C1 (human-ish) to C3 type footpaws. Then you can play with ideas like colour tones (say dark tops, light soles), webbing, claws - maybe even some form of fish-like scale plating.
