Kitsune Adoptables - One- and Two-Tails (OPEN)
Soooo the first two of the Set. I wouldn't call them the best, but I spent a lot of time working on the designs and refining them. Those plants were surprisingly difficult to work with for different reasons!
You're free to change the "story" behind the characters to your liking. I'm adding them to describe my thought process behind their appearance and connection to the plants.
Same with the suggested names! They're just random ideas I had that you may use or ignore! However you feel!
Some facts about this set:
- They're all 'Kitsune', so Japanese Mythical Foxes
- They generally have the amount of tails shown, but they can have more/less if need be. Generally the amount depends on how strong they must be and settle on a specific amount at some point
- They're plant-themed, using Japanese plants or those that are popular in Japan
- They're not 'gods' of that specific plant, but a guardian of specific plants somewhere (e.g. for rice - for a set of fields somewhere)
Rice - 稲
This is a guardian of the rice fields of an elderly worker in the countryside. The worker's family has been a proud provider of rice to neighboring people for several generations now and they've always tended quite lovingly to their fields. Naturally, a little wild spirit was born from that. Due to the small and peaceful environment, the fox has never needed more than one tail and might almost fit into nature undetected. Its job mostly consists of scaring crows away from the field when nobody is looking. If the farmer family ever falls ill, it will do some farm work during the night to help out. Loves Mochi.
Suggested name: Mochi

Heuchera - サンゴの鐘
A guardian of a forgotten garden, with Heuchera growing wildly and in many colors. Due to the lack of extra care given, the plants rarely bloom. But if they do, the guardian themselves turn red as well and sit among the blossoms. In the meantime, they spend their time finding more and more variations of Heuchera colors to add to their little garden, expanding the spectrum further and further. If a visitor stumbles upon their garden and plucks one of the colors away, they will curse their victims by hiding tiny, almost perfectly round rocks under their bedsheets every night.
Suggested name: Sango

I'm really interested in Rice, but I'm also interested in some of the others and will probably only buy one so I'm waiting. But also noticed nobody commented, so I'm doing that tho show there's some interest still! These are really cute, really! I love the concepts and the stories in the description too.
