Have I told you how I love how diverse your cast is and the fact you're not afraid of drawing any animal type?

Thanks! I do have a big cast and a lot of people have told me that they did not see how it would be wise or viable to have so many characters but I've enjoyed it so far as it gives a lot of variety to mix around so you don't wear anything out too soon. I like to see the different anthros. There are a lot of animals I have not drawn yet that I'm looking forward to doing but I wanted the core team to be mostly well-known anthro species like cats and rabbits and such.

I can totally relate. My main cast is 10 which I totally had not intended to be that many, so giving each some sort of spotlight can be tricky, but it's still fun to be able to lay with so many different personalities.

I think it gives the characters a more varied pool to interact with as well.

Indeed. Do you intend to explore different species/cultural differences as well. Like things a dog antho culture may be common to do may not be common to that of a cat.

That is an interesting question that I have not explored too much yet. At least in the major cities (all the ones with greek letters like Alpha and Omega), the population is very heterogenous and there are almost no areas where one species or animal sub-group is dominant. Mixed-species marriages are also very common and even though they cannot interbreed, not even to make hybrids or breeds of mongrel dog, the idea of artificial insemination is readily accepted. Outised of the major cities, areas of more homogenous populations exist though this is considered undesirable by most of the world. Indeed, the general concensus of the planet's population believes that the species populations should be as mixed as possible to avoid divisions of power and differential treatment

Now, is there an element of "dog culture" or "typical cat behavior"? Sure, I would be foolish trying to imagine a world where cultural divisions between the species do not exist. Their biology gives them some common ground such as all the hooved races sharing a fondness for chairs designed a little differently.

There are some groups that work to make society more segregated in their own way and some take their actions to the extremes of terrorism. That could be a futue side-plot but a bit serious for me to base an entire story around.
