Well, I DO remember Forbush Man from the old Not Brand Echh! comic that Marvel did ages ago.

I'd love to track down some of the original issues, at least the issues with Forbush Man in them ^.^

Forbush Man! He's been a quiet fave of mine since the days of Marvel's "Echh" spoof comics. I remember trying to find a red "union suit" so I could dress as him at Halloween. I may have to search again...

I hope you're successful in your sears for long johns ^.^ You could always get a pair of sweats and maybe add a belt to hide the waist.

Oh my, I thought there were only a hand full of us that would admit knowing of these comics, I loved them personally, but wow!

Are you kidding? I'd love it if they came out with one of those big Essential volumes of Not Brand Echhs. Maybe also throw in a volume for What th' also ^.^

Heh, considering how NextWave refused to take itself seriously I don't think we have to worry about his appearance there (and you have to admit, the part where Stuart Imoen did the nightmare sequences in the styles of 4 other artists was extremely cool). At the very least it made me want to learn more about the Ecchhs series.

Love the panel on the far right, middle row: no dialogue is needed to hear him say "Jeez this is high up...". And good to see Walrus getting some exercise, too (I've been saying for awhile that Spidey needs to loan out one of his gag villains to She Hulk, so that Titania doesn't have to pull double duty as both Shulk's personal nemesis and as comedy relief. Walrus would be a good candidate for that). Didja ever get the Heroclix Forbush Man bystander token?

Anyway, enough rambling: This is awesome and I canna wait to see moar! =D

I had heard that NextWave wasn't even officially part of conttnuity. Then that got retcon'd to being continuity but now events may not have happened exactly as shown. And I will never fault the series for it's artwork. I guess Forbush Man is one of those characters that i think doesn't need to be made all dark and grim ^.^

Thanks. Part of me is still debating whether to add dialog or not to this. Might be more interesting to see if I can tell the story without it. And no, I didn't! I even know there was one until recently. I might have to try to track one down. Though I'd prefer an actual Heroclix of him. I mean if they can make one of Ambush Bug then they can make one of FM.
