What is March Madness?
A challenge and growth for myself in which I do a single sketch/study for 1 hour (with as small 5 minute grace period). The goal is to train myself to work with and through my chronic hand pains as well as to practice techniques to alleviate the pain during drawing. Sadly, the pain has gotten pretty bad at times which is also why there is a slight price increase. I also try to use photo refs whenever possible to study and analyze as a way to improve my skills. The pose and look is determined by me but I ask for 3 words to use as themes and I ask that you use broad terms and concepts ie Fantasy, Elegant, Curious, Sci-Fi, Military, Peaceful etc etc
Tips would be highly appreciated and loved! Please consider my Ko-Fi? Right now I am saving up to help pay bills, help my mother in law who had flood damage, as well as save up to get my art produced into prints and products :D

Eadryk in 1 hour 3 minutes with the theme of "Determination, Fantasy". The character had wings so I sort of envisioned a battle angel. Gave her more raggedy feathers, messy hair, random lines here and there to kind of give you how dishelved the clothing and armor. All of that is to give you a sense of "She wasn't doing too hot in battle but she is determined to win no matter what". I hope the intense gaze with colored eyes gives that feeling.

Honestly, sometimes I just shrug it off and color tiny detailed things for a while just for fun. It's much more relaxing to me than having to do whole, huge swathes of one color for a character.

I love the shading on the latex and those succulents! So time consuming @-@

Ah, the latex one was a cop-out by me, that outfit came pre-shaded in the base XD I colored the others, though.
I imagine having a tablet would be an issue for me, if I ever tried to do art that way. I get intense hand pain when I write on paper; never learned to hold a pen/cil correctly in school and it always caused pain. :T Thankfully no pain when I use the mouse or when I used to use my trackpad.
