So, I have made a lot of models since I first tried Blender. Some of them lost, others still available. And I have no idea what I wanted to do with that kinda intro because nobody cares anyway.
So let's cut straight to the point. I made this compilation -or dump, like a sketch dump, except not- for the sole purpose to demonstrate the models I have made in the hopes that someday, they may make it into a game. As You currently figured out, I am a guy who makes up a game concept usually relative to the story and it's world I "try to build" so to say, so... here are a few models that may decide the fate of the entire model project, or something.
You can count these models in 3 categories, 2 of which is up for votes, and the third is, naturally, may end up as nothing but demonstration.
The Detailed Low Polygon Character models are the gangster, the female furry (mutant) NPCs and the Bohrok models, the latter of which may need some polish.
The Ultra Low Polygon Character models currently consist of only the Mystery Soldier and the Toa Extreme -template- model.
The Demonstrational models are that old "Halo Spartan Toa" model with the textures, the low-poly baron of hell, and the spectre prototype model.
I am thinking on using either the Detailed or Ultra low poly models for the game. Detailed Low Poly models may look better -hopefully, on the level of the Half Life High Quality Pack-, but take a lot of time to figure out, and prone to mistakes, due to their complexity. The spectre model failed because it was too complex for what it wanted to be. Meanwhile, ultra low poly models may still look decent for an old-school game pretending to be Quake, Dusk or Half-Life without the HQ Model pack. They are simplier to make, may be better to practice texturing on, and you get a "quake" like game. I may decide to make HQ models as an option later, IF the game is made at all -considering that I suck at delivering-. I am leaning towards giving the game Ultra-Low Poly models first, though. Which means a lot of characters with old-school models will be made.
