AARG *clutches hand* MAKE IT STOPPPp it won't stop argghhhhhhh.
I can't seem to stop drawing tonight xD I wanted to stop drawing, I wanted to sleep, hell, I wanted to fap, but noooo, my brain forced me to draw this D8
I usually don't consider myself an artist, but every now and then I think it flashes into existance temporarily. xD I like to imagine this is what it's like to be an artist... to have something pop into your mind and grab you so strongly that you can't do anything other than draw it, have you see it in your mind so clearly that it just falls out of the pencil. I haven't had this much a good time drawing in a long time. It was like it was happening all on it's own.
... no idea why my style completely chaged drawing it though. xD
Aaaanyway, very quick doodle, so forgive any anatomy mistakes and such x3
The basic idea behind this picture (finally!) is this. Every time I get home from anywhere, my dog goes nuts. She starts smelling me and sniffing me like I'm the best and most interesting smelling thing in the world. It's cute, but that's 'cause she's a dog.
I thought about what it might be like if furries were to have this same impulse... imagine coming home from work or play or whatever only to have someone grab you by the scruff and start smelling you all over without saying a word? Well, as you can see, it caught Ru off guard, anyway xD
Anyway, I'll scrap in a bit. It's cute though, so I wanna show it off :P

I'd say you should definitely consider yourself an artist. Because I'm an artist, and my skill is far behind yours :3
In fact, with that insatiable ability to compulsively draw something exactly how you see it in your mind, I'd say you're gifted. Consider yourself an advanced artist :3

Ooh, hardly. I do however tend to do it about once a day, and at that point it was 3 am and I hadn't xD
But yes, sometimes it can get a little exciting. It depends on the picture though, and generally only happens when drawing the fun parts, like fluids, or pondering on the overall concept. Once you're deeply involved in the actual process, it's harder to be aroused- it's hard to be excited when you're focusing on lighting concepts or fur texture. xD

Well, my furryness does not extend beyond the limitations of the internet. x3 I look at the sketch I did here of a curvy female figure and one part of my brain goes "Hey, that's kinda sexy..." and then I remember it was based off my dog and start thinking ew ew ew EW. xD
