Some artists took to Twitter today to share comparisons of their art in 2012 to their art in 2018. I used this as a chance to redraw something, and 2012 was a big year with Friendship is Magic taking the world by storm and people flocking to Tumblr to make Ask Blogs (myself included)!

I was a Freshman in High School in 2012, and I spend the later years of HS barely touching a pencil or tablet pen. Art was excruciating, and I pretty much stopped drawing.

Art didn’t start picking up again for me until I was at college, 2016-2017. I just started drawing mostly dragons and lately I’ve been working on anthro art. I don’t really draw ponies and I rarely attempt to draw people.

I’m really not happy with where I am, though there’s obviously been improvement. But an artists work is never truly done, is it?
