I've been doing concepts for the TF2 workshop on and off since 2016, and the end of last year brought us the winter update. There was a lot of great content released to the public, and it also marked my first item finally being added to the game: The Sledder's Sidekick!

This was the confidence boost I needed to get back into gear this year, and I do want to use this as an example to those who do little pet projects on the side in little communities like this: Don't let anyone say what you do is all for nothing. Even when it seems like you've gained no experience or no gain from your passions, in the end, it'll all be worth it. Keep pushing yourself and strive to do new things, as well, and always remember to love what you do!
