The Pokemon World is a vast and wondrous place. So many different regions and countless unique Pokemon in the numerous continents found across it. This time, however, our story takes place in a small village found within the Thunder Continent in a humble and peaceful locale known as Volt Village. As one would expect, it was a village inhabited almost exclusively by Electric Type Pokemon, but, even more noticeable was the fact that the vast majority of Pokemon that lived there were Pikachus and the rest of it’s family line. It was almost impossible to be in the village and not see a Pikachu, Pichu, or a Raichu in any direction one looked. As a result, the village was often referred to as the Pikachu village, a place where Pikachu could live together in peace and harmony and for nearly all of them, that’s what they did, all except one, a Pikachu by the name of Chuchu.
“Wha!” cried Chuchu as he gazed up at a Raichu. The Raichu was no bigger than any other of his kind, but to the Pikachu, he appeared far larger and only seemed to grow in size when he stumbled backwards and fell onto his butt. “Please don’t eat me!”
“I don’t want to eat you,” assured the Raichu as he kneeled to offer him a hand. “Let me help you up.”
“I won’t fall for your tricks!” Chuchu replied and Krabby-walked backwards in a desperate, but unnecessary endeavor to escape. He didn’t stop his awkward fleeing till he backed himself into something. He sighed with relief to see it was a fellow Pikachu. “You are not going to be gobbling me up, today!” The Pikachu looked down at Chuchu and gave a pity sigh.
“Uh, oh,” another Pikachu said as he overheard Chuchu freaking out. “Looks like that scaredychu is freaking out again.”
“I’ve never seen such a terrible case of voraphobia,” replied another. “I’ve never knew there was such thing either.”
“Mama,” asked a Pichu. “What’s voraphobia?”
“I’ll tell you when you evolve, sweetie,” she told him as she pulled him away from the scene with one arm while she carried his unhatched brother or sister in her other arm.
“Oh, mom, you always say that,” he grumbled.
“Come on now, pal,” the Raichu said to Chuchu again as he saw the crowd of Electric Types increase by the second. “You’re making a fool of yourself over nothing. Just let me help you up and you’ll see I am not going to hurt you.”
“W-W-Well, okay,” decided Chuchu nervously as he extended his arm to the Raichu who reached for it. Their paws were just about to touch…
“Hey, Chu!” shouted another Pikachu from the crowd. “He’s gonna gobble you up!”
“Kapi!” cried Chuchu as he went into full panic mode again and used Flash. In a burst of light that temporarily blinded all the onlookers, he ran off. The crowd of spectators groaned and complained. Some young Pichu were in tears crying and a few Pikachu who didn’t think to stay still till their vision cleared bumped into something and fell down. Once their vision slowly returned, they could still see him in the distance. As he neared another Raichu he freaked out again and quickly bolted away from that one too. “Stay away! You’ll never eat me!”
“Hahahah!” laughed the Pikachu that shouted out and freaked out Chuchu. “Oh, that never gets old.” A few of the other Pikachu couldn’t help laughing too, but most were more irritated by what had happened.
“Why’d you do that for?” the Raichu snapped.
“I had to protect Chuchu from the big bad Raichu,” snickered the Pikachu.
“I wasn’t gonna eat him?” he argued. “What kind of Raichu even would eat a Pikachu? Why would he even think that?”
“It’s been his phobia ever since he was a Pichu,” the Pikachu explained. “But back then he was afraid of being eaten by a Pikachu. When he finally evolved he became afraid of Raichus. Wonder what he’ll be afraid of when he evolves again.”
“That isn’t nice to play around with his phobia,” lectured the Raichu. “You wouldn’t think it was funny if it happened to you.”
“It is totes funny,” he countered. “And why would it happen to me? Are you gonna try to gobble me up?”
“Not me, but it’s a big world out there,” he pointed out. “How do you know that there isn’t a Raichu out there somewhere that really does eat Pikachu?”
“Because there’s no way I’d be dumb enough to let myself get eaten if there were,” he mocked. “Now, I’m gonna see if I can find Chuchu and scare him some more before lunch time. You can come too, if you wanna have Chuchu for lunch.”
The Raichu crossed his arms looking quite angrily at the him, but the Pikachu just laughed and made his way to the park, knowing just where to find Chuchu.
“N-no, Raichu is gonna eat me,” whimpered Chuchu as he hid in the tube slide in the park. It had a narrow opening that was made for young Pichu to use it. It had just enough room for a Pikachu to fit too, but there was no way a Raichu could fit. Carefully, Chuchu poked his head out to look around and sighed with relief that he didn’t see any Raichu orange anywhere around him. “Looks like I’m safe.”
“For now,” the teasing Pikachu added, making Chuchu jump with surprise.
“Kapi!” he cried and turned around. “O-Oh, it’s you Buzz. That wasn’t nice of you. I might have finally taken a step to getting over my phobia.”
“I was just looking out for my bud,” he replied. “We’ve been pals since we hatched at the same nursery and done lots of fun things together. Remember when I had my mom read us all those stories?”
“I do,” answered Chuchu. “But I don’t think I remember them as fondly as you do.”
“Let’s see, there was the story of the two Cubone and the wicked witch Kangaskhan.”
“Those poor Cubone were so close to being eaten,” shuddered Chuchu.
“Or the story of the Tediursa that went to visit his grandma Ursaring only to have the big bad Houndoom eat them both up.”
“It should have been very obvious that was a Houndoom,” whimpered Chuchu. “They look nothing like Ursaring.”
“And then there was Buneary who went into the two Bewear and their little Stufful’s home.”
“Oh, that poor porridge never had a chance,” replied Chuchu getting a snicker from Buzz.
“What about the three little Pignites who were building houses only for the big bad Explode to knock them down?”
“Actually, I liked that one,” Chuchu told him.
“Hmm,” pondered Buzz, wanting to get another big freakout out of Chuchu. “Look out! There’s a Raichu over there!”
“Kapi!” cried Chuchu as he dove for cover in the slide. “W-Where?”
“Over… uh, there… I think,” pointed Buzz, actually managing to spot one when he had only made it up to scare Chuchu. As he looked over at the Raichu in the distance, a puzzled expression appeared on his face.
“What’s wrong?” worried Chuchu from his hiding place.
“I think that’s a Raichu,” he replied not sounding like his usual teasing self. “It looks like one, but what’s with that tail it has… and it’s huge!”
“Huge?” wondered Chuchu as he poked his head out to look and saw the biggest Raichu he had ever seen. He appeared at least two feet taller than the average Raichu, but in Chuchu’s eyes he imagined him monstrously huge. He was also quite a rotund Pokemon too, ranging somewhere between very fat and downright obese. His gut hung down to his feet and his arms and legs were also quite thick with flab while his head appeared quite chubby with a second chin drooping down onto his chest. He also had a thick, black tail, overtop a pair of massive buttocks. The tail also had an unusual round tannish tip at the end that was not like the lightning bolt shape a regular Raichu or its Alolan counterpart shared. It was something new entirely. “Kapi! He’s ginormous!”
“He’s big, but not that big,” stated Buzz once he had recovered from his initial shock and was back to being a teasing bully. “I’ll wave him over so you can see for yourself.”
“No, don’t,” pleaded Chuchu, but protesting only made Buzz more eager to do it.
“Hey! You! New guy, come over here,” he called out and waved the new Raichu over. He spotted Buzz and with a toothy grin on his face, the Raichu waddled his way over. “He’s coming over.”
“Don’t tell him I’m here” begged Chuchu as he hid where he knew that huge Raichu could never reach him.
As the Raichu came closer, a lot of Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu followed him. They all seemed very curious about the unusual Raichu and came to get a closer look at him. The only one that didn’t want to was Chuchu.
“Did you want something?” asked the huge Raichu, standing so tall that he was level with Buzz while he was at the top of the slide.
“My friend did,” he answered. “He’s a bit shy, though, so he’s hiding in the slide.”
“Oh, is he?” wondered the Raichu as he leaned over to look inside the slide and saw the scaredychu hiding in the middle of it, shaking nervously. When he saw the Raichu look in to see him, it only made his heart race and his teeth chatter. “There you are. Hi there, little fella.”
“He’s even bigger than I thought,” worried Chuchu. “He could swallow me in one gulp. But he can’t reach me all the way in here. He’s much too fat. And he’s probably fat from eating lots of Pikachu! Kapi! I’m a goner for sure, this time!”
“Awe, he is shy,” grinned the Raichu. “But I can get him outta there.”
“N-no way,” cried Chuchu adamantly. Chuchu remained still, certain that the Raichu was only bluffing, but, suddenly, he felt a strong suction pulling him from the other end of the tube. He tried to resist it, but there was nothing in the tube to hold onto and helplessly, he was forced down the slide and felt something cling to his rear and pull him out. Once out of the slide, Chuchu was able to see he was stuck to the end of the Raichu’s strange tail.
“Heheh, gotcha,” he snickered as did Buzz, who looked quite amused with this new Raichu’s abilities. All the other Pokemon looked very intrigued by it too. On the other hand, Chuchu was flailing his arms and legs in terror.
“Wow, what kind of Raichu are you?”
“Which region do you hail from?”
“Are all Raichu so fa- uh, big where you come from?”
“Let go of me!” cried Chuchu freaking out as his struggling and squirming didn’t help him at all.
“Whoa! One question at a time. I’m what you’d call a Dufflepouch Raichu,” he explained. “Oh, and the name’s Zaron.”
“That tail is very neat!”
“Can I evolve into a Raichu like you someday?” asked a Pichu.
“The way to become a Dufflepouch Raichu is a rather unusual process,” he continued. “I’ll tell you all about it some other time, but what I need right now is a place to stay. Been a long while since I’ve been to a place with so many… Pikachu…” There was a pause in his sentence as he looked at all the countless, little yellow mice and could feel his hunger peaking. Quickly, he suppressed his voracious desires before anyone took notice. “...and other electric types. I think I’d like to spend quite a bit of time here to unwind. Any chance someone can take me to a hotel? I’d be happy to tell you more about Dufflepouch Raichus if you do.”
“I’ll do it!” one in the crowd called out.
“No! Me! I wanna know!” another called out.
“Tell me how to be a Dufflepouch Raichu,” pleaded the little Pichu.
“Wow, so many volunteers,” commented Zaron as he quickly rubbed the saliva from his maw before anyone noticed. “Who to pick?” Rubbing his chubby chin, he tried to decide and then turned to Chuchu still struggling to get free. “How about you, fella?”
“Kapi!” cried Chuchu as he managed to finally get his butt unwedged and ran off. “No thanks!” Not stopping for anything, the fearful Pikachu ran all the way home and locked his door.
“Don’t mind him,” Buzz told Zaron. “He’s just a scaredychu. He thinks that Raichu wanna eat him.”
“What a ludicrous idea,” chuckled Zaron. “It’s downright silly, a Raichu eating a Pikachu. Anyone who would believe that would have to be completely paranoid.”
“That’s Chuchu for ya,” agreed Buzz. “So, how about I bring you over to the hotel and help you get settled in?”
“Sounds like a good idea to me,” nodded Zaron. Seeing the unusual Raichu make his decision prompted the crowd to start dispersing. Many sounded sorely disappointed that they missed their chance to learn about Dufflepouch Raichus. “Shall we get going then?”
“Just promise not to eat me,” joked Buzz as he went down the slide. Once he got out the other end he waved Zaron to follow him.
“No promises,” he replied with a grin and waddled behind Buzz, his tail moving with some eagerness to it.
A short while later, Buzz helped Zaron register at the nearest hotel and walked him up to his room to look around. For the massive Raichu, the room did seem a bit cramped, but he smiled as he walked around looking quite content. He peek out his window and eyed a number of Pikachu walking around outside and licked his chops.
“See something good outside?” asked Buzz, noticing Zaron was drooling quite a lot.
“Oh, yeah,” he nodded drying his fat face with his arm. “I can imagine staying around here for a very long time.”
“I bet everyone will want you to stay here too,” commented Buzz. There are quite a lot who are interested in learning more about you. I’m rather curious too.”
“Then how about I give you a quick lesson on what a Dufflepouch Raichu can do?” offered Zaron. “I did promise I’d teach you, after all.”
“I didn’t bring you here for nothing, after all,” he added. “Teach away.”
“Very well,” said Zaron as he took a seat and maneuvered his tail around to get close to the unsuspecting Pikachu. “As you can see, I have quite a lot of control over my tail. It is a lot more like a really long arm above my hiney than a mere tail.”
“Heheh. It certainly does more than what most tails can do,” noted Buzz as he poked it curiously. “And it’s a lot thicker than a regular Raichu tail and it feels kind of rubbery too.”
“All part of what makes it so useful,” spoke Zaron. “But here is something most don’t realize about it.” As he said this, the little flap on his tail tip opened up and a sweet fragrance started to flow out.
“It smells sweet,” commented Buzz as he leaned closer to the pouch to get a better whiff of it. It makes me feel… relaxed.”
“It does have that effect on Pokemon who smell it,” snickered Zaron. “And once they inhale enough of that scent it puts them into an infatuated trance.”
“Pika!” cried Buzz with hearts in his eyes and a big smile on his face.
“Heheh,” chuckled Zaron some more with a smug grin on his face. “After that, they are slaves to my will. Now, isn’t that fascinating?”
“Chu,” nodded Buzz lost in the trance.
“Now be a good boy and stay still,” instructed Zaron as he lifted his tail up. The tip opened up completely and dropped down onto Buzz, pulling him into it and then began to undulate, pulling him inside and then through it. Bit by bit the helpless Pikachu was moved through the tail. “As you can see,” continued Zaron. “The tail his hollow inside and has sort of a vacuum-like quality to move objects through it. The rubbery material my tail is made of even allows objects larger than my tail to fit. Even a Pikachu can fit in it, but I’m sure you already figured that out.” Zaron watched with great amusement on his face as Buzz soon made his way to the base of his tail and then vanished inside of the massive mouse. “And if you are wondering where you are now,” added Zaron. “You’re in a second stomach of sorts in my body. You’ll be safe in there till I decide to eat you for real, but don’t worry, because you won’t be the only one I intend to consume. There’s plenty of Pikachu here and I intend to eat them all!” Walking over to the wall of his room, Zaron pressed a claw against it and and scratched a mark on it. “That’s one.”
Scared for his life, Chuchu didn’t leave him home since he escaped from Zaron. More accurately, he didn’t leave the secret bunker beneath his bed since he got home. He remained there silently, munching on some of his favorite cheese and listening to some music on his radio. To Chuchu, this was hardly the first time he had done this, but it certainly was the first time he spent a few days in his bunker, unable to feel safe enough to venture outside.
“I really wish that scary Raichu guy would just leave so I can come on out. I wish all those Raichu would leave so I could feel safe,” sniffled Chuchu. That was at least how he felt when he first hid down there, but as his tension faded, guilt started to surface. “But that wouldn’t be fair. Just cause I’m the scaredest Pikachu in the world doesn’t mean they need to leave because of what I think the might do to me. They probably won’t do a thing to me at all. They never do anything to me since I’m always running away… I’ve probably been making them all feel bad for carrying on like I have. That Zaron fellow was new to town too and was just showing everyone what he could do. He probably was a nice guy and me running off like I did was very rude. He was new here and I ran off without knowing a thing about him. I should go and apologize. Yeah, that’s what I’ll do. It’s about time that I overcame my fear. I’ll even give him a hug on that big belly of his. It’s time…” Chuchu paused to sniff the air and it was far from pleasant. He pinched his nose to keep from smelling it more. “Time to get washed. Sitting in a small space and eating nothing but cheese is a very smell way to live.”
Grabbing his radio and a few pieces of his cheese rations, Chuchu climbed back up and out of his bunker and then squirmed out from beneath his bed. The air was much fresher up there, but he still reeked of pungent cheese. Taking a bite of a piece of his cheese, he waddled over to his bathroom and closed the door. “Mmm, spicy mozzarella,” he murred with delight and wiped some sweat from his forehead. “My favorite.” He placed his radio and the rest of his cheese down on the counter and approached his shower. Opening the lightning bolt shower curtains he stepped inside. Turning the nozzles, the water came pouring down on him. Grabbing some body wash and a cheese-shaped sponge, Chuchu started to get washed and refreshed.
“This PK-025,” spoke the Pikachu on the radio as the music playing on it was cut off. “We have an important message for all the citizens of Volt Village. Over the last few days there have been a considerable number of disappearances. Approximately ten Pikachu have gone missing. Reports from eye witnesses recall seeing the missing Pikas walking around in the dead of night, seeing nothing out of the ordinary, but recalling faint, sweet smell in the air. Among those who have gone missing include the following Pikachu’s: Buzz Zap, Sparky Surge…” Hearing this, Chuchu turned off the water and poked his dripping wet head out of the shower to hear better. “When officials have gone to investigate all trails have led to dead ends. The Sheriff has issued a warning to all residents to stay indoors at night. If this is not possible, it is recommended to avoid going out alone. Updates on the situation will be reported as new information is arrives. And now let’s lighten the mood again with the latest hit by Thunderforce, Through the Lightning and the Storm.”
The music began playing, but Chuchu wasn’t listening to it. “Oh, dear, oh, dear,” he cried as he quickly grabbed a towel to dry off. “Pikachu are disappearing and it started just around the time that Raichu showed up. It’s gotta be him, it’s the only thing that makes sense. I need to warn everyone right away!”
Not bothering to get completely dry, Chuchu grabbed the rest of his cheese and then ran to his front door, munching one along the way. He opened the door, just in time to see a Raichu walk by. He could tell it wasn’t Zaron, but his Voraphobia didn’t discriminate. He slammed the door immediately and flipped every lock on it. Sparks flew from his cheeks and over his wet body, fluffing out his fur, making him appear like a yellow puffball.
“Oh, who would even believe me?” he asked himself. “They’d just think I was being paranoid again if I don’t have any proof. Which means…” Chuchu swallowed hard as he struggled to finish his sentence. “I gotta go out tonight and get some.” Looking at the clock, night was still hours away. He whimpered and quivered, feeling like a frightened Pichu waiting to get a needle at the Pokemon Center. If the Raichu didn’t kill him, the waiting would.
As the sun set, Zaron sat in his hotel room watching it. The sky was alight with the hue of Pikachu yellow that was slowly being consumed by Raichu orange. “Heheh,” he snickered. “An omen that they’ll be good hunting tonight.” He got up and waddled to the wall where he had ten scratch marks in it. Recalling each of those Pikachu he had stashed away in his second stomach made Zaron drool and his regular stomach growl. Grinning, he looked down at his belly and rubbed it. “I know you are hungry to be filled with some Pikachus. After tonight, we’ll have enough for a little feast. You’ll like that more than just getting your appetite teased with just one or two.” His stomach roared, showing it’s impatience to be filled with its favorite food. “Now, behave yourself! This whole town is the biggest smorgasbord we’ve ever seen. We need to be careful and discreet in order to capture them all. We’ll eat every last Pikachu here and get even bigger and fatter than we are. Heh, perhaps we’ll gobble up the Pichu and the Raichu here too while we’re at it. They should be just as tasty too.” His gut gave a few more gurgles before it quieted down. “I figured you’d like that.” Smirking, he petted his belly some and lifted it up enough to lean forward and kiss it. “Who’s a good belly? You are! Yes you are!”
When nightfall finally came, Zaron made his way out of his hotel room and snuck out into the streets of Volt Village. Scanning the area carefully, he grinned. “Heh, looks like everyone is hiding in their homes,” he chuckled. “That just makes it all the easier for me to move around without being caught. And not like hiding in their homes can keep those yummy Pikas safe from me. Heheheh.” He waddled off, his tail swaying back and forth with some swagger.
A nearby trashcan started to shake a little and then ever so slowly, the lid lifted up. “Kapi,” whimpered Chuchu nervously as he watched Zaron waddle off. “I was right. This time I was right. There is a Pikachu-eating Raichu and now…” Chuchu swallowed hard as he tried to hold onto some of his fleeting courage. “...to follow him.”
Carefully climbing out of the trashcan, Chuchu began to tail Zaron, watching him from as close as he dared to get. Fortunately for Chuchu, Zaron’s massive body made him easy to keep an eye on from several meters away.
When Chuchu heard a low growl, he froze in his tracks. He never heard such a monstrous noise before nor did he imagine even at his most frightened that a Raichu could growl in such a manner. Chuchu was unaware that the noise was coming from Zaron’s belly. It was growling impatiently, wanting terribly to be fed.
“Easy now,” Zaron told it with a few rubs to soothe it. “Food time is almost here.” He tilted his head back and sniffed the air, inhaling deep the scent of the numerous Pikachu that lived in the village. That aroma was one of the first things he noticed about the village and it only served to drive his cravings to their limit. If he hadn’t been as strong-willed as he was ravenous he’d have never been able to restrain himself as well as he did. Inhaling the scent deeply, saliva overflowed in his maw, the odor wonderfully delicious to him. Drool dripped down his chins as if he could already taste those little electric mice right now. Then he caught the fresh scent of a Pikachu from not too far away. “Found one.”
Waddling through the otherwise silent streets, Zaron scanned the area around him. He was cautious to watch behind him as well, but Chuchu was even more cautious to keep out of sight. As Zaron kept up his search, he soon spotted a his prey, loitering near a street light, there was a Pikachu. He looked rather tough with his fur spiked up and he had black lightning bolt dyed onto his belly fur. He even had a piercing in each ear and had on a leather jacket.
“I ain’t afraid of some monster snatching us up on the middle of the night,” he mumbled to himself trying to stave off any weariness or boredom he felt. “I’ll beat whatever it is. I’m the toughest Pikachu in town.” He opened his maw wide as a yawn came on and he let out an adorable-sounding yawn. “Pi… ka… chuuu…”
Grinning big on his fat face, Zaron had prey in his sights. “Looks like I’ve found my first catch of the night.” Proceeding to waddle over to the Pikachu, Zaron walked up to him with some swagger in his step, shaking his booty a bit and swaying his tail in an almost hypnotic manner.
The Pikachu saw this and was quick to be on guard. “No closer,” he warned Zaron with sparking cheeks. “That’s your only warning.”
“You sound serious,” Zaron replied in a mocking tone. “I’d best listen to you.” With the same cock behavior, the Dufflepouch Raichu began to waddle away. The Pikachu didn’t take his eyes off him, staying alert, in case of any funny business, but he was completely unaware that the trap had already been set. He suddenly noticed an unusual sweet scent in the air. It was very pleasant and compelled him to breathe it in. Zaron’s ears twitched, listening closely to his breathing and he smirked. He counted his steps away from the Pikachu. “One… two… three…” He stopped, turned expectantly and saw the Pikachu was now following him. He didn’t have that tough expression on his face anymore. Instead, he had hearts in his eyes and was following Zaron, or more precisely his tail.
“Pika!” he swooned as he tried to hug the end of Zaron’s tail only for it to move away as Zaron took another step forward. The Pikachu just followed after it and Zaron started to lead him onward.
“You said not to come any closer to you, but you can just come up to me,” snickered Zaron teasingly. “That’s a double standard, but I can look past it and forgive you. Just follow me, tasty chu. Heh, like you have a choice.”
“Pika,” nodded the Pikachu completely at Zaron’s mercy. He followed the fat Pokemon out of the village and into the forest. Soon the two were out of sight of everyone in the village, save for Chuchu who despite the increased dread he was feeling, somehow managed to remain calm enough to continue his investigation.
“This sweet scent,” realized Chuchu as he covered his face with his paws to try and limit how much of it he breathed in. “The radio mentioned a sweet smell around where the Pikachu vanished. Just whiffing it a little is making me feel strangely at ease and I wanna go follow that Raichu… No!” Quickly pinching his cheeks, Chuchu managed to fend off the alluring scent before it was too late. He shook his head and shivered. “Ugh, that stuff is really dangerous. I should tell all the Pikachu about this right now.” Chuchu then shook his head and sighed. “But without proof they wouldn’t believe me. I’m going to have to show them some irrefutable proof to convince them. And in order to do that… I’m going to have to keep following that Raichu, even if that means going into the dark and scary forest at night.” Sobbing as he saw how eerily dark the forest was, Chuchu made his way into it. “I really don’t want to do this anymore!”
If anything scared Chuchu more than following a voracious Raichu through the dark night of his village it was following a voracious Raichu through the even darker forest outside of his village. Once the village was out of sight, it didn’t take Chuchu long to realize he had no idea how to get back while stumbling in the dark. Meanwhile, he was desperately trying to follow after Zaron. Even trying his hardest, the huge Raichu and the Pikachu entranced to follow him were hard to see from the distance he was keeping. His fear wasn’t permitting him to move in any closer. The only thing he could use to tell for certain that he was going the right way was the sweet scent that lingered in the air. Chuchu just gave it a quick whiff before covering his nose cautiously.
“I have to be so very careful,” he told himself. “One mistake and I will be eaten. I just wish they’d stop moving so I could get some proof and get out of here already.”
“This looks like a good spot,” decided Zaron as he sat down and watched the Pikachu nuzzle against his tail tip and sniff the aroma coming from it. “And now time to add one more to the collection and then I can decide which one I wanna gobble up first.”
“Just need to record some evidence and then get the Shellder out of here,” Chuchu kept telling himself as he hid behind a bush and used his phone to record what Zaron was doing. His paws couldn’t keep from shaking as the horrifying scene played out. The Pikachu, still hugging Zaron’s tail, fell to the ground as Zaron lifted it up in the air. Then dropping it down on the Pokemon, the flap on the tip opened and covered over the Pikachu’s head. The tail then started to undulate and bit by bit the Pikachu was pulled into it till his body was gone and the only sight of him was the bulge in Zaron’s tail. Slowly, it was pulled in further towards the base of Zaron’s lower back. Once it reached that point it vanished into Zaron’s body. Chuchu managed to capture the whole incident on video, but the horror of it all sent him into shock as he felt his spirit leaving his body from how nightmarish that scene was to him.
“Getting close to full,” realized Zaron after the Pikachu vanished into his body. “One more and then I’ll be able to have my own Pikafeast.” He gave his belly some loving rubs as he looked upon it with great admiration. “I mean we’ll have our own Pikafeast.”
“So he hasn’t really eaten them yet,” figured Chuchu as he overheard Zaron talk to his belly. “Also, should I be more concerned that he’s talking to his belly or that I’m talking to myself?”
“Time to head back into town,” decided Zaron. “I’m sure I can find one more Pikachu while it’s still dark.”
“I better hurry,” Chuchu whispered. “Need to warn everyone before it’s too late.” Hastily, Chuchu stopped the recording and began to sneak away. However, an unexpected growl from Zaron’s empty belly freaked him out and made his paws slip.
“We’re on the road! We’re on the road to Viridian City!” rang out from one of the song’s on his phone’s playlist. Chuchu went to pick it up and stop it, but he knew it was already too late before the massive Raichu stomped up right behind him. Shakily turning around and looking up, he saw the Raichu grinning at him and from where the fearful Pokemon stood he looked as massive as a mountain.
“It seems I didn’t have to go far to find the final Pikachu for my meal,” drooled Zaron. “And you look familiar. Aren’t you that scaredychu from the day I arrived?”
“Uh huh,” nodded Chuchu timidly.
“Oh, good,” he salivated. “I can’t tell how badly I wanted to gobble you up right then and there. Ever since I’ve become a Dufflepouch Raichu I haven’t met a single Pikachu that has been able to escape me. But seeing you now, assuming you were trying to record some proof of deeds and ruin my vore streak, I must say that you are probably the bravest Pikachu I’ve ever met. I can’t wait to see how you taste.”
“Kapi!” cried Chuchu as he ran for his life into the dark forest.
“Heh. It won’t do him any good,” chuckled Zaron as he waddled in a leisurely pursuit.
“Gotta keep running!” panted Chuchu. “He’s big and scary, but he’s probably also fat and slow. There’s no way he can keep up with me. I just gotta get back to town and… I don’t know the way back to town!” Leaping into some bushes, Chuchu took out his phone once more. “Please be close! Please be close!” he chanted as he checked his map of the area and saw he was not too far from the main road to the village. A smile came onto his face as he felt a relief greater than any he could imagine. “I’m almost there. I’m almost home free.”
“Not quite,” Zaron told him from behind the bush. “You almost were though.”
“Kapi!” cried Chuchu in fright once more, but he didn’t get the chance to flee this time. Zaron was already prepared as he had his tail wrapped around to the other side of the bush to blast Chuchu with a ton of his sweet scent. “Chu!” couched Chuchu feeling the intoxicating allure of it and did his best to resist and stagger away.
“You have quite the strong will,” admitted Zaron. “Is it from being so fearful of being eaten? Well, I’ve got the stuff to cure what ails you.” Pinning Chuchu to the ground, with a paw, he maneuvered his tail overhead. “If you have anything you wanna do or say now, I’ll give you three seconds. Think of it as a final request.” Shaking and stunned, Chuchu managed to grab as a ball of his cheese and take a big bite out of it. “Eating your favorite food as a final meal?” assumed Zaron. “A fitting way to go. You know what my favorite food is? It’s Pikachu!”
Pressing his pouch tail tip to Chuchu’s face, he hit him with another strong blast of the scent. There was no way to not breathe it in as it was practically forced into his sinuses and lungs. Chuchu could feel the powerful stimulation of infatuation for the Dufflepouch Raichu as hearts appeared on his eyes, but with all his mental fortitude he fought against it. Not letting up, Zaron kept at it, unleashing more blasts of his scent into Chuchu’s face. He kept on resisting, but the battle was clearly one he was losing as his defiance withered with each additional blast. One unusual occurrence during all this was Chuchu’s eyes. As they were going back and forth between being normal and turning into hearts, his normal brown eyes had been changing color bit by bit till they were pink. Not long after that, Chuchu’s eyes turned into hearts and stayed like that.
“Kapi!” he said in a happy tone as he got up and hugged Zaron’s tail. “Heheh, seems like you don’t fear Raichu anymore.” He snickered as Chuchu nuzzled against his tail pouch lovingly. While he did that, Zaron took the precaution to swipe his phone and delete the video revealing him tail vore the other Pikachu. “Consider your phobia cured, but you are still gonna go out that way.”
Lifting Chuchu up with his tail, he dangled him over his maw, ready to drop him in and gulp him down. “Kapi,” Chuchu said again in bliss before gulping down the chunk of cheese still in his maw. Almost immediately, he started to perspire cause Zaron to pause curiously. Chuchu started to flail around and then cried out loud, “Spicy!” and panted heavily.
“What in the?” asked Zaron confused. “You broke free of the sweet scent? How?”
“Oh, that cheese I ate was really spicy,” Chuchu admitted wiping his forehead. “I didn’t think it’d help me come back to my senses. Talk about lucky.”
“Then why eat it?” questioned Zaron.
“It was my last request and I like spicy things,” Chuchu told him. “Here, try some.” Chuchu tossed a piece of cheese into Zaron’s maw. To him it was barely more than a crumb in size. He barely had to chew before he swallowed it.
“Now that the appetizer is done, I’m gonna eat you,” he declared before he started to feel very hot and sweaty too. Wiping his forehead, he felt like he had a volcano in his belly that was getting ready to erupt. Opening his maw, he wailed out loudly, “SPICY!!!” He felt so inflamed in is stomach that he could have used Flamethrower.
While he was distracted by this, Chuchu managed to slip free and hurried towards his village. “Everyone!” he called out to at the top of his lungs. “Emergency! Emergency! I found the one kidnapping all the Pikachu! Hurry! Come quick!”
“What’s going on?” one Pikachu asked coming outside with a nightcap on and rubbing his sleepy eyes. Many more electric mice were soon out there to join him.
“Wah! Wah!” cried a young Pichu.
“Who is out here carrying on?” a mother Pikachu asked. “They woke my little one from her sleep!”
“It’s an emergency,” Chuchu told them. “I found out who has been making all the Pikachu disappear. It’s that new Raichu in town.”
“Is this another one of your wild imaginings?” questioned a Pikachu. “And what? Did he eat them too?”
“With his tail,” he explained. “Well, I think he just holds them in there or something like that, but he said he was going to eat them for real soon too.”
“Do you know how crazy you sound right now?” questioned another Pikachu as the whole town looked at him with annoyed disbelief. “Do you have any proof to what you claim?”
“I do,” nodded Chuchu searching for his phone only to discover it was missing. “Oh, no, my phone is gone. He must have taken it. He probably deleted the video too.”
“Well, I’m going back to bed,” yawned a Pikachu. “I’m too tired to deal with your paranoia.”
“Yeah, me too,” agreed the others as they started to return to their homes.
“Oh, no,” whimpered Chuchu. “They don’t believe me and they won’t without proof. Proof… or if I can find some other way to convince them.” Looking around desperately, Chuchu could only think of one way to show this wasn’t another instance of him being a scaredychu. Spotting a Raichu that had also woken up, he hurried over to him and pleaded with him at his feet. “Please,” he begged. “I need help or that Raichu really will eat them. You have to help me.”
The Pikachu leaving stopped in awe at the sight of Chuchu approaching a Raichu and asking him for help. Even the Raichu seemed shocked by this. Chuchu lifted his eyes and he could see tears streaming down his face. They weren’t tears of fear, but out of true worry and concern. Smiling, he picked the Pikachu up. “Okay,” he smiled. “Where to?”
“Th-thank you,” sniffled Chuchu as he pointed into the forest. “He’s in there. We have to hurry.”
“I better eat fast,” worried Zaron once he finally calmed down from the spicy cheese he ate. “That Pikachu is going to be nothing but trouble for me. Better to eat and run for now. I can always come back some other time, right belly?” It grumbled in response showing how disappointed it was with these turn of events. Bringing his tail to his maw, Zaron got ready to unload the Pikachu from his storage belly and transfer them to his regular one. “At least I still get to eat you guys.”
“Hold it right there!” Chuchu called to Zaron, drawing his attention from his meal and now to the numerous Pikachu and Raichu that had gathered against him. “You won’t be eating any Pikachu around here. Now let them go.”
“So close,” grumbled Zaron. Outnumbered and outmatched no matter how he looked at it, he had no choice other than to forfeit his meal. He lowered his tail and released the Pikachu onto the ground instead of his maw. His gut cried as it’s long awaited meal was getting away. “I know. I know. I got too greedy.” His stomach rumbled some more and Zaron groaned. “Ugh, I’m gonna be getting a lot of indigestion over this.”
“Is he talking to his stomach?” one of the Pikachu asked, but didn’t get an answer.
“You will be dealing with a lot more than that,” a Raichu told him. “You’ll be going away for a long time for kidnapping and attempting to vore all those Pikachu. I bet you’ve succeeded in eating plenty of other Pikachu in the past and we’re gonna make sure you never do again.”
“Yeah… about that,” Zaron told him, before using Flash, creating a bright light that was even more blinding while everyone’s eyes were accustomed to the dark. Covering their eyes as they tried to readjust, they were unable to do anything while Zaron made his escape. By the time they could all see, he was gone.
“He got away,” cried the Raichu.
“We were careless,” groaned a Pikachu. “We could have put an end to that voracious glutton, but now he’s free to keep voring Pikachu.”
“At least we managed to keep him from eating any Pikachu this time and all of them are safe and accounted for.”
“All thanks for Chuchu of all Pikachu,” chuckled a Pikachu. “You’re a real hero!” The Pikachu looked around to congratulate Chuchu, but couldn’t see him anywhere. “Chuchu?”
“He was with me a moment ago,” commented the Raichu. “But during that Flash… I don’t know. I don’t remember seeing him.”
“Did he grab Chuchu before he escaped?” wondered a Pikachu.
“Oh, no!” another cried.
“Chuchu!” the Pikachu started to call out. “Chuchu!”
“I got away, but my belly is empty,” Zaron grumbled a while later when he felt certain he was beyond where those Pikachu and Raichu would pursue him. “All that work and what do I have to show for it? Nothing!”
“Kapi! You have me!” said Chuchu as he hugged the obese Raichu’s belly.
“You!” snapped Zaron, surprised to see a Pikachu, let alone the timid one hugging his gut. “You’re that Pikachu that messed everything up for me!”
“My name’s Chuchu,” he told Zaron. “And what’s your name?”
“...Zaron,” he answered after pausing for a moment.
“That’s a nice name,” smiled Chuchu still hugging him tight.
“You are acting very weird,” commented Zaron picking him up by the scruff of his neck. “You were shaking in fear of me just a short while ago from wanting to eat you. I should eat you now. You cost me my meal and I doubt I’ll be able to get close to the Pikachu smorgasbord you call a village anytime soon.”
“You can eat me if you want,” blushed Chuchu giving Zaron’s nose a kiss.
“Now cut that out!” retorted Zaron. His face looked red, more from embarrassment than anger. “I don’t like my food being fond of me. Why are you even fond of me? You can’t be under influence of my tail’s sweet scent.” He then took a sniff of the Pikachu and noticed he smelled quite strong of that scent. He also noticed his unusual eye coloring, certain his eyes weren’t pink before. “Hmm, intriguing. Usually I only used my sweet scent to lure Pikachu to me so I can vore them. I never see what happens if one is exposed to a concentrated amount. This effect is… interesting.”
“Very interesting!” nodded Chuchu.
“Hmm,” pondered Zaron tugging at his chubby chin. “And you love me and will do anything I ask?”
“Kapi!” he nodded happily.
“That’s good to know, my lil, Chuchu,” Zaron grinned rubbing beneath the Pikachu’s chin and watched him purr blissfully. “Cause I may have missed out on a meal, but this discovery might just lead me to an even bigger feast in the future!”
WomblesFanThe Pokemon World is a vast and wondrous place.
