1. This is just a coincidence. There are many male magic users in Iridescence, however none of them have it prevalent in the main cast. For example, both Chris and Kyle can use magic, but they need to use crystals to do it, like Topaz. Both Lauren and Isabelle are Talwyn masters while Topaz is still a student. The guys are soldiers, hence the guns, but they both do know how to use Talwyn crystals as part of their equipment as soldiers.

Ooh, neat! It's really cool to see them all together in one image and all looking so badass! I love the various spell effects that have been used for the Talwyn masters (and apprentices? I'm dumb, I know, but I can't remember how far Topaz has progressed off the top of my head.) Topaz's barrier effects are probably the neatest looking, though they all look really spiffy! The guys look really good, too, and if they lack control over Talwyn crystals, they look no less formidable for all that! The art is simply gorgeous, too!
