I couldn't shake the feeling that Fujimoto was actually Miyazaki somehow. You just know "crazy fish dude married to a sea goddess who never sets foot on land" has got to be his secret fantasy.
While I loved the movie, I wanted more on that Fujimoto guy. I'll bet his story is Princess Monoke level epic.

Ponyo sucked. I thought she was so infinitely ANNOYING... but Fujimoto? He made the movie. I am more interested in his back story than I was anything at all else to do with that film.

Finally saw the movie last night ^^ It was pretty cool. Moreso with Fujimoto being so damn pimp. I couldn't help but giggle here and there thanks to playing Fallout 3, I was soooo waiting for Liam Neeson to say something about 'project purity'.
