Time for more Save Point 1001 shenanigans, featuring Wallace and Vlad!
At this point in the story, the two are boyfriends.
Vlad would normally NEVER eat/hurt Wallace, but knowing Wallace actually likes getting eaten (and having a "checkpoint" feature), he tends to tease his little boysnack.
Only when Wallace wants it tho, he'd never force it.
When Vlad DOES eat Wallace, after he comes back, Wallace usually tells Vlad how it was and what it was like for him.
A very strange relationship, these two now have. :3c
