[The Pantherians] Lost Expedition

"I hope this is good, I try to improve" ^^ Also what inspired this was reading "Berserk" a very adult manga with demons, monsters, monster-slaying and gore.
~The Pantherians are a new species, of predators and hunters I made up. Be careful when in the Deep Jungle~
-A camp of explorers and warriors rested for the evening, believing they had found a great place to rest. A scream erupted from beyond the trees. The men all stood up in shock and saw a small army of massive cats marching towards them, with one of their scouts stuck in the jaws of the beast. The scout slowly descended deeper into the massive Predator, until the final gulp. "Pantherians!" Very dangerous animals to find or come across in the deep forest. When ever you see a Pantherian... that means they are hunting for prey.
-They leap forward!
-The scout disappeared in to the monsters gullet, landing in its already large belly. While it was hard to tell, his screams could be heard from with in the belly, muffled. The group of man screamed as they tried to gather their weapons, only to have many of them being pounced by the Pantherians. Some try to fight back, but are outnumbered by the massive enemy. One soldier gets pinned by the one who ate the scout. He feels the squirm of the scout trying to escape. He swings his sword; trying to free the scout, only to be caught and the sword smashed in two. Others slowly get eaten by the massive cats while others fight for their lives...
-The fighting didn't last long as most of it was just trying to not get eaten. Most of the men in the camp were devoured in mere minutes, some still fighting to not be eaten. The Pantherian who devoured the scout, had eaten the resisting soldier with another trying to pull themselves out of its hungry maw. "No! don't eat me!" he shouted pushing against the muzzle...
-The Pantherian didn't care, all the large cat wanted was to eat. The soldier slowly entered the cat, the throat bugling with prey. Another soldier was running away from the fight; figured he could just leave. Sadly, he was mistaken. From above, a large black cat jumps down. Swallowing the coward in one smooth motion. The soldier slowly reacted and realized where he was now. Inside the mighty gut was armor, shards of swords, and eaten, lifeless comrades. The camp had been fully wiped out... What was once filled with soldiers is now filled with stuffed Pantherians that had at least one or more soldiers each in their bellies, kicking and moving; trying to get out. But it was too late...
-The Pantherians soon leave the camp. With full bellies and another good hunt.
