At the 20th of march, we had to put our beloved labrador Sam into his eternal sleep. He was 14 years old, his body was full of arthrosis, he was almost blind and he was in great pain everyday. He could barely move his old body. He got a cold in january and never recovered from that.
So we had to make this really hard decision. But it was the right choice. Now he doesn't have any pain. Now he's in a better place.

Sam was my hero. He was always there for me, cheering me up when I felt like a piece of shit. He always made me laugh. He always protected me. We took long walks through the forests and the fields, we ran together, we swam together. We watched the sunset. We cuddled on the bed. He always stole my socks! He dug so many deep holes in our garden.
Gosh. I have so many great memories with him..I miss him so much..he meant so much to me. I just can't believe, he isn't there anymore...I don't wanna believe that..It feels so surreal. I never thought about his death, Sam was somehow immortal for me.

But someday, we'll see each other again. I promised that to him.
I will love you forever my beloved Sam. Please wait for me in heaven. You still are my hero. I love you so much.
