Trying to get a straw in your beak is a lot harder than you'd imagine... I got really thirsty at Ren Faire last year and didn't want to desuit in public, so

The beak (and the rest of the base that the fur is glued to) is made out of resin! It has a glossy appearance just because a gloss varnish was used to seal the paint on the beak, I've seen resin beaks that have more of a eggshell finish as well! The base was made by Freakhound Studios, and the rest of the suit was made by
