Pride Rules for Jaguar Valley
Behavior
1 - The sim owner, Mako Minogue, is Drama Phobic. He's also Alpha Wolf. If a problem rises to Mako's attention, Mako's solution is going to be Fast, Final and likely to involve blood letting for all parties concerned. Contact a Sim Admin, or two, or three to have your issue resolved. Do Not Annoy The Mako. When in doubt, See Rule #1.
2 - Jaguar Valley is run as a benign dictatorship, not a democracy. This means that Admins are given a Large Amount of discretion to Fix Things their way. The probability of Mako reversing an Admin's decision is less than winning the Lotto. See Rule #1.
3 - Griefing/abusive behavior == sim banned without warning. General Ass-hattery like trying to sell freebie stuff, abusively interrupting conversations and the like is griefing and will get you booted.
4 - Sim bans are shared with all Valley Estate sim admins, so being banned in Jaguar Valley will almost certainly get you banned from *all* 15+ Valley Estate sims in one shot.
5- Guns and weapons are allowed on a parcel by parcel basis. Note you *Are Responsible* for any and all bullets/objects that cross parcel boundries. Shooting up down range AVs or buildings on other parcels is going to get you in hot water fast.
6- This is an Adult Sim.
- Public nudity is allowed. If this is a problem for you, don't come to Jaguar Valley.
- No public overt sexual behavior is allowed - get a room.
- Sky boxes are without exception Private. Keep out of them unless you are invited, this includes your camera. Spying on residents is a bannable offense.
7 - Keep builds on the rural theme
All ground level builds must mesh well with the rural theme of the sim. Concrete and glass modern styled builds are not appropriate for Jaguar Valley. Urban styled high rises, post apocalyptic styles and so on are also not allowed.
Traditional wood and stone and brick architectures, like half timbered Bavarian or classic Japanese homes are welcomed.
Please do place some landscaping out as well to round out the look of your land.
About Scripts:
Sim crashing griefer attacks have forced me to restrict scripts in Jaguar Valley to those in the deeded land group only.
This means that all scripted objects must be rezzed with your land group Active.
Scripted object rezzed under other group names need to be edited so the group = the name of the group your land is deeded to like so:
- R click and Edit the object
- General tab
- Set the Group: MyLandGroup
Scripted object that you are wearing won't work until you make your Active Group = MyLandGroup and those worn scripted objects won't function on other people's lands.
- Scripts and scripted items causing lag may be returned to you at any time.
About Land
- Land in Jaguar Valley is leased on a per month basis. No land is Sold outright in Wolf Valley.
Please see Mako Minogue or any JV Admin for the current lease rates. A Jaguar Valley information vendor is located in the Telehub/Mall area with rent rates and other helpful information.
- Rent more than 3 days late will result in the land being repossessed with all prims returned to their owners and the land made available to other players to lease.
- No Refunds are given. All rents are non-returnable. If you are banned for bad behavior, you will not receive a refund for unused days of your rent.
- Land is deeded to a Group. Mako Minogue must be made an Officer in your group to be able to deed the land to your group.
- You are allowed to sell items from your low lag vendor provided it's located indoors. See any sim admin for the current sim information card which covers this in detail.
- Camping chairs and devices are Forbidden and will be deleted immediately on discovery.
- Skyboxes are to be built at least 500M up to ensure private affairs stay private
Enjoy your visit to Jaguar Valley and above all else, Have Fun!

10 points for having my house in the center of snapshot! ^.^
Oh btw, you might want to turn off the option on water reflecting stuff down one notch. Because its on the option of reflecting EVERYTHING from the water, well... its reflecting everything. Its prolly a bug though and you might want to turn it down one notch as I have.

I knew you had been using that before, but when I hadn't seen it on your land tab I wasn't sure if I should assume you still liked Amae Tetsu hehe
And yus you are teh center cause the corner from whence I took the shot from is Allen's land and he doesn't have anything there hehe

That's a pretty nice shot of Jag there. Been there ever since the sim even existed and since then, my home has undergone three changes. Currently, I like it the best and I think it'll remain that way for years to come. You should've also noted that home invasion is a big no no for potential visitors, as I have zero tolerance for it. Not that I want to dissuade people from ever coming to Jag, just don't go into other people's homes without the land owner's permission is all I'm asking. I've already had that problem a good number of times.
I remember that when you first showed me around your place what, 2 years ago? ...you noticed that people had come through your house uninvited. Since then I noticed that your place is only accessible through your group invite only. As far as I know, the general public can't just walk into your house, and I respect your right to privacy. I experimented for a brief time with a land security orb because I felt the "NO ENTRY" ban fence is a little "offputting" (literally... haha) but then I decided that the orb was more hassle than it's worth. My home is open to the public (as it kinda has to be with the arena and such) and I don't have anything that is too awfully private. I don't like the idea of people going into my personal bedroom and possibly doing things on my bed without my permission, so I try to make sure it stays in owner mode and shut down when I'm not online (sometimes I forget though).
But I wholeheartedly agree. Not only just walking into homes and exploring around uninvited a big (HUGE) no-no (The rules apply similarly to real world, people. That's the same as "breaking and entering". Don't do it.) But using your camera to look into peoples homes without permission is a bannable offense. ESPECIALLY if you are spying on people or looking at things you shouldn't be. From the covanent of Jaguar Valley -
"- Sky boxes are without exception Private. Keep out of them unless you are invited, this includes your camera. Spying on residents is a bannable offense."
A popular misconception is that people think that they can cam around thinking that we as residents don't know that we are being spied on? Not true. There's an option in the advanced menu that you can turn on that allows anyone to see exactly what any particular person is looking at. If I'm doing something in private and I see someone's camera appear on me or around me when I know you are half a sim away on someone else's property or not even talking to me, I will call you out (P.S. These comments wasn't directed at you, Ans, or any of my close friends and family of both Wolf and Jaguar. That was to the newbies and the gate-crashers who don't know the rules or don't respect the rules).

That's all cool, Swift. Mako kind of made me take down my no access red tape around my property not too long ago. His sim, his rules, so I had no choice but to comply. Luckily, whenever Isinia's around, she kind of keeps an eye on things and lets me know if there's any potential home invaders. She'd do the same for you.
The camera thing, the spy thing, yep, straight out of the rules. You have a problem, or see anybody breaking those rules, all I need is a name. Then I can put Mako's patented ban hammer to use.

Glad ya liked it ^^ The original image was 6016 x 1556 and 27 megs... I had it spread out across both monitors and my graphics maxed to the limit :P I crashed SL 3 times before I decided to shut down all unnecessary programs before trying to take a picture like this XD
It turned out really neat but now we'll lose a resident and the map will be different.
One thing that's constant, is change hehe
