Shaid was rather bored this particular patrol, nothing seemed to be happening, he sat waiting in an alleway, sighing and waiting. He almost nodded off against the wall but a fur he couldn't quite get a good look at bumped into him as they ran past him. He caught the look of a nice white suit with red boots and gloves it seemed, and a bushy grown white tail, but beyond that he wasn't sure. He debated going after them but by the time he looked down the allyway they where gone, and he just sighed.
"Nice work, probably was important and now whatever it is your missing it..." he grumbled, smacking his cheeks a little as he looked around. He fazed his way up to the roof of the complex, melding with the shadows as he waited, looking up at the moon in the sky and sighing a bit.
About fifteen minute pass and he was about to nod off again when he saw a recognizable face flaying through the night sky. 'Warp...Fire?' he thought in his head, a fellow super, not from around here, at least he didn't think so. Granted neither was he, as he saw her notice him, flying at him at a rather fast speed.
"You! shadow man! we'red she go!" She yelled at him, Shaid looking up at her and noticing a few things now that she was closer. She seemed a bit flustered, and her feet where bare, to which he took an interesting look at, as her outfit didn't seem to suggest that was normal. He looked at the bare soles from his angle, and couldn't help but get a bit intrigued by them, losing himself a little tell a flaming ball lit up in her hand.
"Tell me!" she yelled, as he just folded his arms. "Who do you mean?" he asked "Who do you think?!? your boss!" it was at this point he started to see what was happening here, and smirked, sighing before putting on an evil grin. "Ohhh well if you wanted them, you should have just ASKED!" he yelled as the ground erupted into a mass of shadow tendrils, them flying up at lightning speed as the now only slightly hovering Warp Fire was caught completely off guard, expecting something from the front or side but not from below her so directly. She was ensnared in moments, and yelling at him a eep of suprise as she readied many more fire balls in her bound hands.
"Ohh none of that" he snickered as he snapped his fingers, shadowy hands and feathers appearing at her feet now held up in front of him, them instantly scrunching as she let out a eeping laugh.
"HAyaayhAHAwhatAHAHwarreyaoudDOInghghaAAHahaah!" she laughed, the flames dying out quickly as she kicked and scrunched her toes at him, Shaid smiling and looking down at her. "seeing how fine i can go with this..." he responded, as he crouched down to see just how small and fine he could get the shadow feather to go, with more of them appearing as time went on. He continued this for a good ten minutes more, a large number of feathers and hands all rather small attacking her feet without mercy, Nova cackling and tugging and wiggling all over.
"AHAFHaahadsosotoooppaAHAAHApleaSSEEawquitteeittAHAAHANOamaororeahaaAHAHA!" she begged, as Shaid finally, looked up, suddenly seeming to remember there was a person attached to these feet, as he instantly stopped the tormant, waving the shadows away as Warp Fire collapsed on the roof panting and giggling, the wolf getting up to walk over and reach down a hand, the other scratching his head as he smiled with an uneasy expression.
"Ohhh jeez im sorry, i get lost..in my work sometimes...names Shade, Fellow hero, or at least planning to be" She looked up at him with an uneasy look and a bit of a glare, and he leaned down to grab her hand and pull her up. "Look im sorry i couldn't help i-" as he said that he was punched across the face and reared back a little, looking over as Nova just stared at him with a bit of a blush and anger.
"No one hears of this, EVER!" she yelled at him, as he nodded and rubbed his cheek "y-yes of course! wouldn't dream!" he said, as she walked to the end of the roof. "now if you are a hero, help me find Sugarcoat, she was around here and got me and my friend trapped" She glared at him again as he blushed a little under his fur. "And i MIGHT have caught up to her if you didn't get in the way!" he scratched his head and looked at the concrete ceiling. "I-im sorry...wouldn't happen to wear a white latex suit with red boots would she?" she began to look wide eyed at him as she darted over and placed her hands on his shoulder. "You saw her!" He nodded "y-ya she went down that alleyway! but that's almost a half hour ago now-" before he could continue Warp Fire went flying down and sprinting down the alleyway, Shaid sighed and melded with the shadows once more. "well...at least i still got my fur" he noted with a smirk
