a couple of my families puppies :3 they fall asleep in the oddest positions (I'd post another one but I actually think that one may be labeled in-appropriate, they fell asleep like a ying-yang symbol... you can guess what half the sick people on the net would think of that as x_x) this one I though looked just like a heart, alas the name puppy love :P
but yeah, my dad's actually opening a business specializing (and right now he breeds and sells yorkies, not to mention helps other people do the same) in small dogs and this is my shameless advertising ploy to help him |3 (he need's all the help he can get x_x) we have a lot of puppies available, I believe one of the 2 from this photo is still available (one of them we sold later that day)
anyways, for some information. Yorkies make great pets! they're small, require little to eat, are easy to clean up, and if trained can even be tought to go to the bathroom elimination the need for daily walks (though still suggested) while lap dogs, they can be very playful and energetic, then curl up in your arms and fall asleep. they like big areas to run around in, but other than that, they're a hole in the ground type of animal and like to be in closed when sleeping (they especially like under the covers :P) they're very intelligent if trained appropriately and can live to be very old if taken care of properly, around to 20 years of age. you have to be very careful especially with small one, because getting sick, as rare as it is for them, can be exceedingly deadly, and they're pretty fragile. they're good with kids as long as they're not the really rough kind (they're a toy dog breed, not a child's toy :P) this dog is GREAT FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES! no shedding leads to most people having no allergic reaction. only thing is because of them not shedding, they do need to be combed regularly, at minimum once a week, and probably more.
just as a note, we're located in the central NY area :3 and if there's any intrest in finding out more, feel free to send me a private message. I'll probably be posting a picture of my own do after this.
