Nonetheless, it's an interesting read. I especially liked your approach to the theme. A key can be so many things. This is something that wouldn't have come into my mind in ten years. Again, it's a pleasure to read so many different prompt responses.

Don't take anything down, but add a link to all the previous chapters into the commentary. That would be my solution. Or use this: [-,-,-] That is, previous-first-next tag. That's another solution.
