Upon hearing the sad news of how Toys "R" Us closed down and it's founder passed away shortly after, this was the first thing that came to my mind.
When I was a tyke, the closest Toys R Us was in another town, and my parents would only take us there on special occasions (or when my brothers and I would pester them into going), and this was the oldest toy I can remember having from one of out visits. I remember it being a red/pink with '90s blue/black graffiti squigles... and maybe one being mostly white and black that glow in the dark. Either way, this toy always made me think of Toys "R" Us... and I hope it is STILL here in the house, tucked away somewhere....
Either way, gone or not, I will always remember Toys "R" Us....
