I saw Panzers list of writings and i freaked when i saw how much he has.my god i thought i was working hard all last week and this week.

Panzer and espishily you are my greatest insperations to go on with writing..

Very nice. I was a bit confused at first, but after re-reading the beginning a couple of times I figured every other line was from the song. Quite unusual approach, but very entertaining too. I figured out another place where there is no dawn, but you have to read my response to see it for yourself. Anyway...

I wish I could. I really do. But...I just haven't been able to write recently. And now, I don't have time to do anything. I don't know when, or how long it will take, but I would like to start submitting again...

I need more than a foot, i'm afraid. I may take some time this weekend to work on a short 'miniseries', that has been formulating over the past two months. It would only be like seven chapters, but its still something. Everything I have just seems to be larger projects right now, and I don't have the time or energy to dedicate to them.

Do you have the link to the challenge though? I may just give it a try... *hugs*

It seemed to hint at the effects of prolonged isolation and how the mind finds ways to fill in the void.

At some point, I found myself reading both the italicized and the action parts all at once, as though the song was overlapping the events. It worked well that way.

I had forgotten the range you have, since your stories of late have all been soaked in saltwater brine and blood. Nice to see you flex your creative muscles in a different direction.

For such a short piece, this was really touching and meaningful. The few lines about how his species is valued differently in various places tell a world's worth.
