So, I drew these while at my brother's place, and the conversation turned from "Y'know, they haven't done a movie in a similar style as E.T: the Extra-Terrestrial in a long time, I wonder how a new take on the idea would go" to "The annoying kid would be too dumb to realize the alien wants to eat him" to "The generic father should be almost nothing but fancy pants, with a tiny upper body, since you mostly see him from the kid's perspective" and this set of sketches happened.

I don't know what to really say, but I wanted to do some stupid cartoon stuff, as seen by the dad's rubbery exaggerated design.

On a design front, the generic fluffball creature gains a set of hands and some slight design tweaks.
