No and now I'm really confused where this idea is coming from.

For me the concept came around partly from wishful thinking. ;3 Heh. But also just from the relatively relaxed or positive reactions of those assimilated, it always just gave the impression that something had been tweaked in their heads to make them okay with their altered selves. Since usually significant physical change would cause traumatic levels of stress or at least significant surprise. *small shrug*

Secondly it was just the name. ^^ Hive 'Queen', 'Crown' Crab, 'Succu'bats. All of them have some either royalty reference, implying a higher standing in a hive and possibly some direct ability to exert their will over others, or despite your previous mentions of Succubats NOT being related to Succubi the name still links to the whole Succubus ideal of 'you think I'm hot so now you're in my power mwahaha'. ^^
