this is Meritre, a mixture between a cat and a fish, also called "sea cat"

i know, its totally waste... but i have to begin somehow oO
well actually, there are several proportion problems; the same as ever.
the only thing i like are her feet, for i think i got a pretty good scale-effect there and i like the nailpolish ^^
and yea i know... the skirt is totally too short -.-

i got a really nice pencil. the colour is "white" and i love it ^^
had some problems with it, cause it blends into some colors easier then into others, but generally, i always get my lightning effects with a rubber and this white pencil.
and yes, i still think that i made the skirt far too short xD

OOoh, really cool work! Keep working with those prismacolors, they're an absolute joy to use, you'll get 'em down eventually. :) I would like to recommend getting the prismacolor pencil sharpener, because it works REALLY well for sharpening those pencils. more or less you forced me to give a comment to your first work with your special pencils :D
so i will do that:
you know i like your drawing style.. she looks very gorgeous
but in my opinion too much muscles.. if she hit me i would fly about 20 metres..
the way you coloured your painting is just great.. the lighting looks good with these special pencils..
there are only small things i can pass criticism on:
the two columns do no looks very similar and the shade of the rigt column is not so soft as the others..
..and the pattern on he jar sucks :P
all in all awesome paiting

i normally dont draw backgrounds, cause i really hate it, but sometimes it is just necessary, so i gave it a try :P
