Another good poem Flames, keep em up

Fascinating. It's amazing that we still don't know what purpose dreams serve. It must be true madness to lose sight of what is real and what is a dream. The poem captures this sort of madness and the fear that is associated with it. This is an excellent poem. You should keep writing.

I can't believe I still haven't submitted any of my stories here. Granted they tend to be updated very randomly and I hit writer's block often (not to mention my main series has the first "book" done, the second barely started, the third is yet to be written yet the fourth is slowly coming along) but still...

Writers block is just your brain saying give me a break for a while. Take some time away from it, and then you will find yourself wanting to write again.

I've been on break from the 2nd book for somewhere between half a year and a year <_<;
With me and this particular massive story/collection of stories the problem isn't always not knowing what to write but rather HOW to write it or how to get there. I've known pretty much the entire story spanning 4 books for a pretty long time now :P

Great poem! As for dreaming without sleep: I have had that happen to me before. I think the scientific term is "hypnogogic experience" or something like that, haha. They're few and far between, but I've had a couple. I also know the feeling of a dream seeming more real, or at least as real, as "reality."

It takes time to put idea to paper. Though paper may be burned an idea is a much more difficult thing to destroy.

True. You can burn paper, silence voices and crush people's work but their ideas cannot be dealt with so easily.....unless you have some club-like object and repeatedly smash their head with it >.<
