The term "Bio-Armor" isn't a joke, it's a living cellular alien fluid that bonds with its host as a means to survive and also protect its host. The fluid comes from an invasive alien species that's invading planet Vera. The alien has a core that the fluid creates the bond with and it does the will of its "core". When all hope is lost, a Veran scientist covers herself in the alien compound, becoming the first Veran host and user of the "Bio-Armor".
