Sheesh! the lighting! I imagine that should've been a pain on the back to design, not to mention the style you chose, feels like an oil painting. Feels like a cinematic still frame. That's what I'm talking about!. Perspective and illusion of movement in a single picture. You put yourself through ever increasingly challenges and you nail it every time, keep up the good work! Love your art.
You leave me speechless! I read your thought a couple of times, until I found bits and pieces that fit so well on a series I know so little about; The expanse. I guess I was lost in how you convey words, nevertheless it fits very well with Swishchee piece, that red light contrasting in the foreground along with that gesture of anguish of losing someone dear makes an awesome work IMHO. SiriusDF, You really know how to compliment an artist
As others have already said, the lighting is impeccable. It's strategic which isn't a surprise since it seems to be a sci-fi scene.
I've said this to you before but I'll say it again, your characters' facial expressions and body language ALONE are so well done that it begs a narrative. Adding the rest of the art to the character is simply offering proof that there really IS a narrative. Case in point, SiriusDF was motivated enough to offer his own interpretive narrative.
In summary, a great piece that plays to your strengths. I can't imagine it getting better but, if there's a chance, you'll find your way.
GJ once again.
