When I saw her name, I may have actually squee'd for joy (I can't remember for sure if I did, but I certainly felt like doing so). I especially love the mountains in the background, since there's a connection between Circe and a nameless witch from an Adyghe (specifically a Shapsegh/Shapsugh) myth from the Caucasus mountains. The tribal leader/chief warrior Warzameg tells a deliberately fantastical story about how (in a nutshell) he was transformed into a greyhound, had various adventures, was told by a bear that the person who'd cursed him was a woman and how he could change back if he took her magical short whip and struck himself while wishing to return to his previous form, how he did so, and how in revenge he turned the witch into a jackass and rode his new he-donkey home.
On that note, part of me kinda wonders what your version of Circe would look like if she were turned into a male anthro donkey.

I'm glad you enjoyed the reference!
I always found myths such as Circe to be an interesting source for creative ideas. The strong gimmick/parable approach to them provides a strong foundation to build new stories. While I wasn't familiar with that particular story it definitely goes to show how adaptable that type of character can be across multiple renditions.
And indeed! In the very least it could be a good alternate conclusion to her shenanigans.
