So good news my cable just arrived so my tablet is charging, and bad news the cord was not the only problem and now I'm sure of it due to how it's charging. So my issue was actually what I feared. I own a Cintiq Companion 1 and it has a well known charging port failure issue that has no fixes. This is due to how the port was built and nothing will change even if I send it in for repairs sadly. So I'm going to be looking into a new Tablet. This one has served me well over the 5 years I've owned it but I'm not getting another of its model due to this error.

But seeing as it can at least charge I can safely extract all my files and get finished works out there tonight and tomorrow hopefully while I look into replacements. I'll have to make due using it in this odd way until I get a new one in. So work might slow a bit but Ill be semi back in order. I'm thinking I go with a full upgrade but it still need to be small so I can carry it to and from my work locations. //I don't drive so I need to be able to get it in my bag and on a train.

So like that's my update on the Tablet issue, hopefully It picks easier cable charging positions later cause I don't think my mom is going to be happy seeing her vases commandeered as Cord position presses.
