This was another early idea I thought of, as burying someone in the sand is a classic thing to do, and I think that Kitty looks cute sleeping like that with Gull sitting on top of him ;)
Coloring this was actually kind of hard because sand is supposed to be very movable and textured, but I didn't want to make it look messy like I sometimes do with grass and other textures. In the end, I settled for more of a solid effect, as it fits my simple coloring style and is less distracting, I think.
Oh, and the sign says "Danger! Wild Animal" in case anyone is curious ;)
