I think I'm going to grab one of these off of you eventually ^.^ I don't have the funds for it at the moment, but once I get a little spending money (next month or so most likely) I'll see what ya got in stock ^.^

I was going to be *much* less civil, as I've had my fair share of people like that in my life, and I've had it up to *here* with them, but I didn't want to plaster up your page with such negativity when there was already that embodied there in that person. It's amusing to me to see how small people really are when someone stands up to them - especially when they respond the way that person did - it just makes them look like a fool even more.

I DID have a list somewhere actually, but I can't find it for the life of me at this second (re-arranged everything and now I don't know where ANYTHING is...) - I'll note ya with it if / when I find it! :D

I was given a nice chunk of lapis the other day, it's got some really nice silver strikings through it - I don't know much about it, so I might send ya a pic in the same note as above to see if you could take a gander and see if it's anything nice or if it's just a junky chunk. I got it for nothing, a friend just gave it to me, but I think it's cool if nothing else!

I still vastly appreciate the gesture, as we were just leaving leaving for a dinner outing to spot that as well as a recent shout. Took a fair bit of effort on my end to not link them to a self help website for whatever issue they may have. Luckily, it's been a long since since any 'ugly folks' came along, and I am expecting more to come, as I plan on being quite busy with new uploads of all sorts for the next while to get things rolling.

I am also still needing to educate myself far more into stones such as Lapis, as well as to stock more of them. With the majority of them being unable to be tested with a refractometer, and my distaste for risking scratches with hardness tests, Ive found myself trying to be more safe than sorry. Think it's time to start putting some focus into more items than transparent faceted stones. X3

Yeah, I saw - just look at the guy's page - he's clearly got major issues - my best advice is to just remove his shout and ignore him - the less attention he gets, the faster he'll disappear.

I like to believe that people for the most part are decent - it's just evident that the nasty ones show their faces more often than the good ones unfortunately!

Yeah, I don't really know much of anything on how to test the solid ones either, so I shy away from them a lot even though most are just as gorgeous or moreso than some gemstones! I got a few sunstones and what I'm thinking is some sort of green cloudy quartz, but other than that, I've only got shiny transparents.

It is real quartz, likely a stalactite that was sliced into discs/medallions, then partially dipped in a colored dye to give it that multi colored effect.

Ah. I was wondering whether the colour was natural or not.

Not this time. I know there are stones that have a mix of all colors within them in one way or another, but for a naturally occuring stone to grow like this with clean color symmetry... Now that would be a miracle in itself. I am sure there are some stones out there that beat the odds, but this one is dyed as stated.
