lol i just got to try the wii this past week for the first time. We had a kids are going back to school party and a bowling tournament. I admit it was fun, not something i would buy for just myself, but if you do it as a family activity or have a bunch of friends in to it, then the wii is worth buying.

well I play mostly for myself and you bet it was worthy

So in end I just ignore fanboys. I'm proud to be all-format gamer including PC games, and also happy with Wii owners is that they have something they can enjoy playing, rather than dissing it on first sight because its not hardcore at all :P

And hey, when your family wants to play Wii...that's good! Social gaming is much better than shooting at people yelling angry words most of time anyway :P (Even though I do that alot on Street Fighter IV... )

Actually, I have something 'ticky' to make from this phenomenon

....I'm sorry...I just don't like the wii, I play games to sit on my big fat arse...not get up and dance, bowl or whatever....If I felt like doing that, I'd go and do it, for real.....sorry, but as it goes, the wii is good for lazy bums who don't like to sweat when they do it for real, but for me...the games can never be anymore than sit down and chill...and yes even the hardcore games still relax me...

oh wait did I just say all that?....sorry

again, only one game makes you stand up and play!! I have been playing all my games sit in my bed. D8

Yay for the Wii! I have all of the old school SNES games on it, along with a few N64. And I love the interface. I can be across the room and I'll be fighting with Bowser.

Fallout 3, halo 3, viva pinata, ninja gaiden, gran deft auto 4, left for dead, mirrors edge, etc.

Tambien comprende que el wii pudo haber sido mucho mejor y no por las graficas sino por que muchos de sus juegos son pequenos y se acaban muy rapido.

Fallout 3 no pero jugue el 1 y me aburrio. Pero al final de cuentas no me gustan los RPG
Halo 3 es bueno. sobrevalorado es bueno

Hey nunca dije que el xbox/ps3 no tiene buenos juegos! Y tu comprende que es una falacia que el wii solo tiene minijuegos cuando no es cierto. Tiene muchos juegos largos, de buena calidad y excelentes y mas por venir.

In games that use it well it's great. In games where there's motion just for the sake of motion though it annoys me.

Constantly having to flick my wrist to attack in Zelda or Okami for example annoys me greatly. I don't like motion control just for the sake of motion control. It shouldn't be used in such a repetitive way that it merely replaces a button in my opinion, at least for such frequent actions.

Considering I still haven't played much of Okami because I hurt my wrist and it was painful to constantly shake my hand to attack... I can't imagine how disappointed some truly handicapped people (as in they still have use of their limbs but in a painful or limited manner) are with some of the games.

To be honest, I didn't liked okami in part to that. There wasn't any logicall explanation for use that kind of attack. The A button was fair enough.

But it wasn't as worst as Alone in the dark. That games ABused of the MC and it backfired.

El metodo de atacar en Zeld Twilight Princess me gusto. Apenas se me canso la mano de estar atacando, por que yo no hago movimientos grandes/estupidos.

Si quieres un "juego" con mucho movimiento, para eso esta Wii Fit. Las estupideses de las personas me irrita.

Yo tengo la XBOX 360 y la DS y mi hermano mayor la WII...y no comprendo la necesidad de que una tenga que ser mejor que otra...son consolas diferente en mi opinion. La WII pensada para jugar con mas gente y la XBOX más para jugar en solitario, lo cual no quiere decir que ambas tengan buenos juegos en el otro campo.

La WII seguro que tiene muy buenos juegos de uno..el zelda tiene muy buena pinta y la XBOX tiene algunos versus y otros juegos originales muy buenos para jugar en compañia.

Lo que hay que reconocer es que la WII y la DS revolucionaron a las consolas que por ella la mayoria dejaron de verla como cosas de niños/adolescente y amplio bastante el mercado.

Yo por mi parte me divierto tanto con el fable II o el dragon ball burst limit de xbox 360 como jugando al smash bros en la WII... y veo tonto andar diciendo cual es mejor...me divierto con ambos
