Anyways, trauma boy doesn't see himself as the cute fluffball he is, oh no. His breed change was quite dramatic and unwanted and "snarling beast with bloodshot eyes" is the one staring back at him when he looks into a mirror. He really can't see himself at all. Twisted self-image does that to you.

He used to have long hair too, fyi. Just in case you're wondering what happened to the retro anime hair. It was shiny and silky when he was a Skydancer, about butt length. He's much shorter as Tundra so it was way past knees, and coarse as hell. Phoenicia was the one to decide that it would work better short. But it stays long in the mirror.
