I don't ever expect to actually happen to see anything I really like on the front page. Border on this seems intimidating. It would have to upset the dark edges. I think if I was doing it, I'd try to avoid technological elements to the border. It may be sci-fi, but the border's still the edge of a paper card. Maybe simple would work best.
