Yumiko is a girl who attended Juuban Municipal Junior High School and was friends with her classmates Usagi Tsukino, Naru Osaka, and Kuri. She appeared in the first act of the manga and also in Act 7, along with Kuri and Naru at Rental Shop Dark.
Yumiko was one of the students who bought energy-draining jewelry from Jadeite's Youma Morga, at Osa-P jewellers in the first act of the manga. In episode 7 of the first anime, she and Kuri were hypnotized by with another Youma Derella and took part in the Cinderella Caravan talent search and was a participant in the Cinderella Caravan talent search. She later appeared in episode 25, when she told Usagi about Crane Game Joe.
