Ahhh, it's been too long since I've drawn a T-Rex! Ol' Rexie to this day is one of my favorite dinosaurs of all time, and it was really fun to interpret a character design into this king of the dinosaurs! In preparation for this piece, I actually enjoyed doing quite a bit of research on the type of feather that Rex would have sported back in the day. :> While I added some artistic interpretation with the more developed feathers, I wanted to follow closely the pattern of length of protofeathers, as well as what I thought were some cool proposed quills on areas such as the arms!
And, friendly reminder because I know y'all are out there, if y'all want to debate over dinosaurs with feathers, take it to PMs. Don't have a fight in the comments section of my little drawing here, a'ight? ;>

I love that this boi has feathers like the actual Rex did. I am a HUGE dino buff since I was in kindergarten, and I follow dinosaur news very closely. It is always awesome to see these creatures presented in a way that they actually were since there is still so many people the feathered rex even though the evidence exists.
