my pokemon supernova sun pkm trainer
her name's Helicopter and she still can't beat old kahuna Hala because everyone on alola plays competitive now
doodle thing
...btw pokemon supernova sun is the romhack I'm playing in case I didn't tell y'all, I started a week ago I think and I've been slowly progressing but still going. She's the trainer of menelaus and upa (the torracat and the wooper respectively)

I don't know anything about that romhack, but I can tell you that supernova sun/penumbra moon really does make the battles a lot more interesting.
The levels are adjusted so that the game doesn't feel like a cakewalk, but also so that it doesn't force you to grind until you overpower them.
Hell, apparently it's so tightly balanced that even using stuff like pokemon refresh or traded pokemon to boost the exp gain may make you slightly overpowered after some point.
Also it makes it so that every non-legendary pokemon is catchable on the tall grass. Original pokemon can still be found, and after you've cleared the game and are able to reach all islands, you can pretty much catch any non-legendary pokemon.
It's a good twist, as far as I know the story remains fully untouched (save for some cosmetic dialogue changes to reflect the different battles and mechanics and stuff like that) but so far it does make it worth replaying the game.
But yeah then again, I still haven't gotten past the first island so I've yet to know what's truly ahead haha
