I based it off a dandelion in.... Seed-poof... mode... Or whatever, because it was round from all angles.

Thinking about it, a mushroom is something you eat, but what do you do with a fire flower?

There was a fan movie based on mario that circulated around YouTube a while back... might've been a College Humor thing, but I can't find it anymore... anyway, it shows an actor playing mario running through Level 1-1. He eats the mushroom when it comes up, and later in the level he gets a fire flower and eats it just like the mushroom x3 So I guess you could eat it x3

I always though the Pollen had fiery abilities, but seeds would also logically work too. I wonder what a Star would be explained?

Hmm,,..

It's actually a hive, and when you touch it it surrounds you with bees that are on fire which kill anything they touch.

Lets go with that.

Simply astounding! I have never seen one rendered with such elegance.

Were this to be taken out of context, I could easily imagine someone mistaking this for an actual 3D model or decoration. It has an excellent fiber-optics effect going on.
