Conduit mark 2

Essentially, this is supposed to be a modern take on a music box.

Ok, so the design is evolving to include some other philosophical principles about our little ball of wet dirt we call home. If you can't tell, the bottom stableizers have taken more of the shape of a sort of "ark".
I've also decided to try and suspend the whole center column...
How? With electro-magnetic coils duh. The sun will support the whole of the structure while being repelled by the base. The stability will come from a small iron tip at the base of the column. Aluminum is the base material of the structure to prevent unneeded attractions.

When the power is cut, its all supposed to fold into an egg.
Thats th main problem with the wings. To note, the wings are large solar pannels that will provide recharge for a battery in the base. This is not meant for extended use. A built in timer will activate the structure only once a day and only for 2 minutes after the duration of the song.
