A large bird reminiscent of our ostrich and emu.
It lives in the same areas as the Fey Mahtah and is common prey object for many predators.
It is a good runner however and is not easy to catch.
They live in groups of 5-20 animals.
The males (picture) is slightly larger than the females and sport a elastic "balloon" on its throat that it will fill with air when displaying and "singing" for the females. This singing however comes of more as loud screams than anything.
He also have longer chin-feathers and red coloration's on the bill and neck.
Both male and female have a thin "horn".
The horn on the male may get very colorful around mating season but other than that its use is debated.
It is possible that it helps on regulation the body temperature.
The female will lay 10-15 eggs hidden among tall grass, bushes and trees.
She and other females of the group will protect them against possible threats, however if the danger is to great they will abandon their chicks.
The chicks are decent climbers while small and can often climb to safety with the aid of its then sharp wing-claw.
This claw gets dull as the animal ages and as a teenager it is already useless.
This animal have been imported to many places as a food animal, even in the outer parts of Muthuruh where the air isent as dustfilled.
